Acceptable Course or Subjects: The sponsorship will be awarded to study Doctoral degree programs offered by the University.
Admissible Criteria: To be eligible to apply for this award,
- A newly admitted doctoral student with outstanding academic records and who has not received any other programmes from the Taiwan (R.O.C.) government.
- The NCTU Elite PhD award is only open for new international students to apply.
- The candidate should possess an outstanding academic record and has made exceptional contributions to research fields.

How to Apply
- How to apply: If you are interested in this opportunity, then you must have to enroll in a degree program at the university. And when you filling out the admission application form, mark under the “NCTU Elite PhD Scholarship” item on the form to be considered.
- Supporting Documents: If you wish to participate, you need to submit your transcripts, two letters of recommendation, proof of nationality, confidential financial statement, proof of language ability, proof of Chinese proficiency, proof of work experience, and GMAT/GRE scores.
- Language Requirement: Each applicant should have to demonstrate the English and Chinese language proficiency for studying at NCTU.
