The Cross-Culture Program offers experiences in the following fields:

Financial Benefits
First and foremost, this program provides financial support for the fellowship recipients.
ifa covers the following costs for fellowship recipients from abroad. This Summer Program in Germany will cover all the costs following below!
- A monthly allowance of 550 euros
- Round Trip Airfare Tickets
- Accommodation
- A monthly ticket for public transport within the place of residence
- A refund of applicable visa fees
- Health insurance
ifa covers the following costs for scholarship recipients from Germany:
- A monthly allowance of 1,100 euros
- A refund of Round Trip Airfare
- A refund of applicable visa fees
- Health insurance
No provisions will be made for traveling with family members such as spouses or children. ifa assumes no costs or responsibility for other persons beyond the fellowship recipient.
Eligible Countries
To be eligible for the International program in Germany. Applicants from one of these countries are eligible to Apply for the Cross-Cultural Internship 2019
Algeria, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Malaysia, Morocco, Mauritania, Oman, Pakistan, Palestinian Territories, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Tajikistan, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, and Uzbekistan.
Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must be between the ages of 23 and 45 at the time of the application.
- Good written and spoken English skills.
- At least two years of proven professional experience or volunteer work in a civil society organization in the country of origin.
- The applicant is in good health for a longer stay abroad.
Required Documents
The following required documents have to be uploaded Online:
- Curriculum vitae in English with details about education/training, work experience, volunteering, and other skills.
- Letter of motivation.
- Letter of recommendation from the applicant’s home organization/workplace in the applicant’s country of origin, for example from a supervisor.
- Photo is optional.
